PMs wing it way more than you think
Plus: proud to have KI Challengers sponsoring One Month PM February 2022 Cohort
Product managers wing it way more than you think. We’re just better at hiding it. I learned this from Miguel Loureiro.
One of the aspects of dealing with such a large deviation of topics (product, engineering, marketing, operations), such a different type of people (engineers, sales, finance), and such different themes across a week (design reviews, scoping, operationalisation, shipping, data) is a natural brain plasticity effect. That’s why suddenly, winging it is easy, even across new contexts.
Now to get started with your company, there is also another way to “wing it”, which is working with Miguel's company KI challengers. Imagine partnering with a group of people that (coincidently) have every single superpower you need (amazing engineers, smart-as-hell product managers, world-class product designers and a whole service team ready to make you successful). And they’re not there just to “deliver”, they’re there to build your business, invest in you and your team. I personally think it's a game-changer.
As a PM you will be stretched, beyond belief (just ask any product manager). Learning how to bend will be really hard (spoiler: going through lots of painful failures). Companies like KI challengers can make it easier for sure, but whatever the path, you'll emerge with an unbelievable energy for any future challenge.
Super proud to have KI challengers as the first One Month PM cohort sponsor, helping us reach even more people in a mission to create the product managers building the future.
PS: if you’re looking to work in one of the best places to grow and develop yourself, check them out. Not easy to get in, but if you do, you’re surrounded by top talent.
